Autonomous Commerce Execution® (ACE) is the Emporix platform for running B2B commerce as end-to-end processes that understand context. Its latest capabilities give AI the context of how a business runs: the Celonis Context Model for live business context, the Interaction Hub for designing and running processes by prompt or configuration, and the AI Experience Builder for creating customer and employee experiences from context rather than templates.
Data plus processes. The relationships, commercial rules, process history and know-how that show how a business really runs.

Why context, and why now
With AI, a convincing storefront is a prompt away. Apps, features and interfaces can be rebuilt in days, so the front end no longer sets a B2B supplier apart. What takes years to build sits below the surface: customer relationships and contract terms, commercial rules such as pricing and approvals, the way quotes are handled and exceptions resolved, and the judgement of experienced people. Anyone can clone your storefront. Nobody can clone your context.
Most B2B suppliers already hold that context, but it is scattered. Order history and payment behaviour sit in the ERP, account status in the CRM, carts and questions in the shop. No single process can read all three at the moment a decision is made, so every customer gets the same answer. ACE connects them.
How the latest ACE capabilities build on its foundation
ACE is a SaaS platform that evolves continuously. Its foundation is two core capabilities: Value Streams, which run end-to-end commerce processes and bring in agents or people where needed, and Commerce Agents, which read, validate and act inside those processes. Both keep running, and each new capability extends a layer that is already there.
Celonis Context Model, built on Value Stream process data. Every ACE Value Stream is already measured through the Celonis Process Intelligence Graph. ACE now combines that process data with shop, ERP and CRM data into a live digital twin of operations, so teams can ask for reports on live KPIs in plain language and get recommendations grounded in how their processes actually run.
Interaction Hub, built on Commerce Orchestration. Teams already model Value Streams visually and run them end to end. They can now design and change processes by prompt as well as by configuration, connect Value Streams directly to frontends as Augmented Value Streams, and coordinate cases, tasks, rules and workflows in one place.
AI Experience Builder, built on the journey-aware Frontend. The headless storefront already follows journeys set by process logic. ACE now generates experiences from context instead: storefront homepages for the buyer in front of them, role-based cockpits for employees, and experiences in agents, mobile, EDI and punchout.
Commerce Agents now act on shared context, so the same process can take the right path for each customer. Together the layers follow one flow: understand, coordinate, engage, execute.
ACE in action
Two customers ask a solar supplier's storefront the same question: a 450 m² roof near Munich, panels and a battery, no wallbox. The Context Model recognises one as a valued customer from her order history, payments and CRM status. She gets a tailored offer and her abandoned cart back. The new customer gets a standard answer. A sales lead then types one prompt to create a cockpit of quote requests and abandoned carts, and a second to email sales whenever either happens. Context changed the ending. Prompts changed the process.

Contextual commerce is the second of three stages. Automated commerce follows instructions, contextual commerce understands the situation, and autonomous commerce, next, pursues business goals within governance.
In practice
ACR: autonomous order intake
Context builds on what already runs. At B2B distributor ACR, purchase orders arrive as PDFs. Agents read them, validate them against customer-specific pricing and hand them to the ERP, so people only see the exceptions. The result: 10x ROI, 99% straight-through processing and about 2,000 purchase orders a month. Read the ACR story
Frequently asked questions
01
How has ACE evolved?
ACE is a SaaS platform, so it evolves continuously rather than in numbered versions. Value Streams and Commerce Agents remain its foundation. The latest capabilities add context on top: the Celonis Context Model extends Value Stream process data, the Interaction Hub extends Commerce Orchestration, and the AI Experience Builder extends the Frontend.
02
Do I need a Celonis license to use the Celonis Context Model?
No. You do not need a full Celonis license to use the Celonis Context Model in ACE. The Emporix team can explain how it is licensed for your setup.
03
Do I have to replace my ERP, CRM or PIM to use ACE?
No. ACE connects to the systems you already run and uses them as sources of context. Existing Value Streams keep running, and processes can still be configured manually.
